I went back to Baylands yet again and captured this Black-Crowned Night Heron hanging out in a tree yesterday evening. This morning I woke up early, headed back and caught another Heron fishing in the marsh.
Today for biology class, we went to Stevens Creek in Cupertino, CA. We learned about the water quality of the creek as well as saw the insects and animals which lived in and around the water. There were a bunch of chickadees’, and Black Phoebes’ flying around, so I took the opportunity to take a few shots of the juvenile Phoebes’.
I went camping with a couple buddies over the weekend in Big Basin, California State Park. Today on our way back home, we stopped by Pescadero, CA and walked around the marsh. We some terns, egrets, and herons flying around, but these marbled godwit were the only bird close enough to get a descent photo of.
