During September 2012 my girlfriends co worker, and her husband left on a trip to England, letting us stay at their beautiful home in Pescadero, California for a weekend. Their home is surrounded by open space which is also home to an array of active wildlife. We saw plenty of deer, hawks, rabbits, quail, and even caught sight of a weasel, coyote, and bobcat. We have since been back a few times and I’m always sure to bring my camera to capture the beauty of Pescaderos’ wildlife and landscape.

I have been taking photos and shooting video around Wildlife Preserves in the Bay Area for the past six months in search of coyotes and other wildlife. Arastradero is closest to home, so Whenever I have a little bit of free time during the day I like to run over there. This little video is just a tiny fraction of the footage I have gathered over the months. I’m not quite ready to throw it all together yet, so I made this short edit to itch my video editing bug. These clips were accumulated over two separate days at the preserve.
