I haven’t been out hiking or camping much lately. I have been pretty busy with school and a new part time job. Luckily, I was able to get out last weekend with the Gaston brother’s and we camped out on one of the coldest nights here in California (not that cold compared to most of the country)of the year. I think the temperature was down to around 20-26 degrees Fahrenheit. The hike was great, the camping, even better. We all stayed relatively warm in our tents as we slept on a bed of pine leaves. It was a much needed short excursion, which brought back a few good shots.
Yesterday I went out to Sunol Regional Wilderness, in Sunol, CA. This place is beautiful and filled with breathtaking landscapes, as well as all sorts of critters. I saw baby turkey, a bobcat, and all sorts of colorful birds. Great place to hike for a day!
